The Director General provides conditions for the functioning of the office and organises work to ensure performance of tasks set out by the Chief Inspector. Director General supervises Main Inspectorate in terms of organisation, human resources management, staff training and professional development, institutional control, defence, administrative and budgetary matters, public procurement, classified information protection, and personal data protection.

Director General supervises the Organisation and Administration Office and the Finance and Human Resources Office.
