Independent Position for Legislative Affairs

The scope of duties of the Independent Position for Legislative Affairs includes:

  • Ensuring compliance with the Polish legal system and legislative technical standards for draft legal acts prepared within the Centre, and coordinating the approval process.
  • Coordinating the preparation of positions for:
  • The Government regarding non-governmental draft laws submitted to the Director of the Centre.
  • The Director's response to draft legal acts prepared by central and central governmental authorities.
  • Preparing opinions and notes for the Centre’s leadership on draft legal acts discussed by the permanent Committee of the Council of Ministers, the Council of Ministers, and parliamentary committees.
  • Participating in parliamentary works on draft laws within the Centre's jurisdiction, under the authority of the Director.
  • Representing the Director in judicial and administrative proceedings.
