The scope of duties of the Information Technology and Communication Department includes:

• Organizing initiatives and overseeing the implementation of tasks outlined by Poland’s cybersecurity policy for the plenipotentiary for cybersecurity.
• Developing and implementing an information security management system and carrying out tasks within this system.
• Ensuring the ongoing IT and communication needs of the Centre, including electronic security systems and radio-television networks.
• Maintaining the operational continuity and administering public telecommunication systems according to their security documentation, including the EZD Edicta system.
• Maintaining the continuity of operation and administering the OPAL system (Classified Email System), in compliance with its security documentation.
• Collaborating with external entities to ensure the Centre's information security.
