From 10 September 2021 travellers from Poland who are fully vaccinated may apply to opt out of dedicated SHN facilities and serve their 14-day SHN at a suitable accommodation of their choice (e.g. residential address, hotels or serviced apartments).

The first Poland-Singapore Digitalization Dialogue between the Government Technology Agency of Singapore and GovTech Poland Programme was organised with a view to develop closer digital cooperation between Poland and Singapore and was held virtually on 14th July.

From 30/12/2020, the amended regulations will apply to facilitate access to medical professions in Poland by: 1.doctors, 2.dentists, 3.nurses, 4. midwives, 5.medical rescuers, who obtained qualifications to practice the above listed professions in non-EU countries.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Singapore informs that the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced a call for proposals under the Polish Returns NAWA Programme. The aim of the Polish Returns NAWA Programme is to allow prominent Polish scientists to return to their country and take up employment at Polish higher education institutions, scientific units or research institutes.

When on 3 May 1791 the Four-Year Sejm also called the Great Sejm adopted The Government Act of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth later known as the Constitution of 3 May, the Polish-Lithuanian state became the Europe’s first and the world’s second that passed the basic law. For its time, it was a progressive and bold legal act which initiated a number of reforms. It also constituted a crowning achievement of the centuries-old links between Poland and Lithuania.

The Day of Polish Community and Poles Abroad was established in recognition of the historical contribution of diaspora communities to the national objectives of the country of their forefathers. Celebrated jointly with Polish Flag Day, it is intended to encourage Poles to reflect on the glorious pages of the country’s past.
