Poland at the Food & Hotel Asia 2025 Exhibition in Singapore

08.04.2025

Poland marked again a presence at the Food & Hotel Asia 2025, one of the largest and most prestigious trade fairs for the food, hospitality and beverage sectors in Asia.

FHA 2025 - polskie stoisko na targach

From April 8-11, 2025, approximately  20 Polish companies showcased their products both at the national pavilion organized by the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) and at the Chamber of Commerce Promotion Centre (KIG CP) booth, which promoted Polish meat and fruits as part of a sectoral program.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Singapore, in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and local partners, prepared a series of accompanying events that created additional opportunities to promote Polish food products and build relations with Singaporean importers, distributors and media representatives.

On the eve of the fair, April 7, a networking event "CEEfood Experience" took place, organized jointly by the representatives of several Central and Eastern European countries.

The event, that gathered above 130 guests, was inaugurated by the President of the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce and the Ambassadors of Poland, Lithuania, and Hungary. Speeches were also delivered by the Ambassador of the European Union and the guest of honor – Damian Chan, CEO of the Singapore Food Agency.

The official opening of the exhibition and Polish pavilions took place on April 8 with the participation of Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Alvin Tan, who emphasized the crucial importance of free trade and food imports for Singapore. Thanks to the Embassy's efforts, the VIP delegation visited the Polish pavilion.

products ranging from premium beef and dairy to processed foods, organic snacks, and confectionery.

Complementing KOWR’s pavilion, the Polish Chamber of Commerce Promotion Center hosted a “Taste Europe” booth at stall 5F2-07, which showcased Polish apple and meat associations as part of a broader Central and Eastern European presence.

Throughout the fair, Polish chefs conducted culinary demonstrations, offering visitors the chance to taste iconic Polish dishes and discover the culinary versatility and excellence of Polish ingredients.

Live cooking demonstrations conducted by chefs from the KOWR and KIG CP delegations took place at the exhibition stands, attracting significant interest from visitors. In Singapore – where no permanent Polish restaurant operates – this was a unique opportunity to introduce Polish culinary traditions to a wide audience.

On the same day, a business reception organized by KIG Promotion Centre in cooperation with the Polish Embassy brought together representatives of Singapore’s food and beverage industry.  Speeches promoting the Polish agri-food sector were delivered by the Head of the Polish Embassy, the President of KIG CP Ms. Bożena Wróblewska, the Deputy Director General of KOWR Mr. Tomasz Ciodyk, the Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of KOWR Mr. Piotr Kondraciuk, and the President of the Association of Polish Butchers and Cured Meat Producers Mr. Tomasz Parzybut.

Polish entrepreneurs positively evaluated their presence at the FHA exhibition, noting high visitor turnout and strong interest in their offerings.

On April 9, the Polish Embassy in Singapore organized a media event aboard a luxury yacht manufactured by Polish company Sunreef Yachts. The initiative served as an innovative alternative to a traditional press conference and formed part of a broader strategy to position Poland as a source of premium-quality food, design, and culture in the Singaporean market. The aim of the event was to promote the Polish food sector within the broader context of Polish design, luxury products, culture, and tourism.

The event was addressed to local journalists, media editors and influencers active on social media platforms (especially in the areas of gastronomy, wellness, travel, and luxury lifestyle).

Guests were invited to sample a curated selection of Polish food and drinks. Catering featured Polish cold cuts, snacks, caviar and custom cocktails using Polish premium vodka The View.

The programme also featured a showcase of Polish amber jewellery by Asian models that offered a visual and cultural highlight, showcasing Polish craftsmanship in the luxury segment.

Promotional videos and digital slideshows were screened on board, presenting content from KOWR, KIG CP, the Polish Tourism Organisation, and the Embassy of Poland. Materials highlighted Poland’s food sector, tourism potential, and ongoing Poland SHIOK! 2025 events.

Multimedia screens displayed promotional content prepared by KOWR, KIG CP, the Polish Tourism Organisation, and the Embassy of Poland, including information about the ongoing 9th edition of the Poland SHIOK! festival (www.polandshiok.sg).

The event was attended by over 40 participants from the media and influencer communities.

Multiple participants shared real-time content via Instagram stories and posts, reaching audiences in the tens of thousands.

The project was co-financed by KOWR, KIG Promotion Centre, and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.
