On 14 April 2020 Singapore Food Agency lifted a ban for import of poultry meat from Poland do Singapore, that was introduced as a consequence of avian flu episodes in Poland in January 2020. The regionalization rules will apply accordingly.

SFA has also opened the Singaporean market for Polish table eggs and egg products, and simplified market access procedures for processed meat (poultry, pork and bovine meat) and eggs. Export accreditation of processing establishments will be granted based on pre-listing rules instead of more complicated and time consuming standard accreditation procedures.

The accredited establishments will be allowed to start or resume export to Singapore as soon as consultations of relevant health certificates by veterinary authorities of Poland (General Veterinary Inspectorate) and Singapore (Singapore Food Authorities) have been completed.
