Participation of Minister Tomasz Siemoniak in the opening of the 5th 'Polska Moc Biznesu' Congress
26.11.2025
On 26 November 2025, the 5th 'Polska Moc Biznesu' Congress, the largest socio-economic event in Poland, commenced. The Congress is taking place at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw and brings together more than two thousand participants, including representatives of the business community, central and local government administration, non-governmental organisations, and experts.
The conference is focused on the key challenges facing the Polish economy and society, such as the competitiveness of the Polish and European economies, defence, new technologies, deregulation, the financing of health prevention, and legal stability. Particular attention is also given to issues such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, foreign investment, energy transformation, mental well-being at work, and responsible leadership.
This year’s Congress was opened by members of the government, Tomasz Siemoniak, Minister and Special Services Coordinator; Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister for Family, Labour and Social Policy; Monika Wielichowska, Deputy Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland; as well as Piotr Wachowiak, Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics; and Joanna Makowiecka-Gatza, President of the Employers of Poland Association.
Addressing the assembled guests, Minister Tomasz Siemoniak underlined the importance and value of the Congress:
I appreciate the Congress programme, which places strong emphasis on security and resilience, as well as the role of debates and panels in generating ideas that translate into tangible action.
In conclusion, the Minister drew attention to the government’s consistent efforts to strengthen security:
Without a secure Poland, without secure borders, there will be no business, no development—all that we have painstakingly built up over decades will not endure.
This year’s record-breaking edition of the Congress is intended to provide a platform for dialogue and the exchange of knowledge about the key challenges and opportunities facing the Polish economy, with particular emphasis on sustainable development and social responsibility. The debates are held across seven thematic stages, covering the full spectrum of contemporary issues.
