Russian propaganda centers seek to demonstrate that the West stands for evil, confrontational policies, the pursuit of war, tolerating double standards, favoring criminal regimes and Russophobia.

Kremlin-controlled communication channels have been running anti-Western propaganda for years. It is now mainly set in the context of Russia’s war against UA.

The West, according to Russia's claims, supports UA and the 'Kiev Banderites' because it wants to wage an indirect war against peaceful Moscow using 'fascists'.

The Kremlin wants to convince the public that the 'special operation' being conducted in Ukraine is a necessity due to Russia's sense of entrapment and the growing threat from the West.

The themes of NATO's growing military potential, the Alliance's foul play, its support for regimes and its desire for military confrontation with Russia are also explored, while other threats such as those emanating from UA are ignored.

Russian sources constantly ooze the message of NATO and Western responsibility for all evils in the world. Demonizing the West helps to justify Moscow's criminal activities, which are presented as defensive actions.
