For the first time in many years, an official business delegation from Syria has visited Poland on 6th - 10th of October - the visit was headed by Mr Ayman Maoulawi, president of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and Damascus Countryside.

Thanks to the event co-organized by Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Embassy of Poland in Syria and Syrian Embassy in Warsaw, many fruitful meetings with representatives of Polish economic institutions and business circles took place.

During the meetings, the perspectives of establishing Syrian-Polish Business Council were discussed, as well as comprehensive development of the bilateral economic cooperation and carrying out the subsequent trade visits in this regard.
