10.05.2024 New YorkOn 10 May, the UN General Assembly in New York adopted a resolution expanding Palestine's rights in the UN. Poland, along with 142 UN member states, including the majority of the EU, voted in favour of the resolution. Nine countries voted against and 25 abstained.

After 7 October 2023, we have considerably increased our humanitarian aid, by making additional contributions to UNRWA, UNICEF, and the WFP (the World Food Programme), and provided medical assistance to hospitals in Egypt which also treat Gazan patients.

24.01.2024 SantiagoThe United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) commenced its new year with a special meeting centered on the theme: “The future of work: towards a productive, inclusive, and sustainable global society.” This gathering, hosted at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile, spanned January 23-24, was the inaugural meeting of Poland's three-year term in the ECOSOC.

10.12.202310 December marks the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the UN General Assembly. The document has lost none of its relevance and many of the rights defined therein must still be protected in different parts of the world.
