ARMA and Moldovan AIPA Sign Cooperation Agreement - Joint Actions for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas

On June 26, 2025, the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation between Poland and Moldova was held in Chișinău. The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations and initiate new directions of cooperation in the field of agriculture and rural development.

President of the Agriculture Restructurisation and Modernisation Agency (ARMA), Mr. Wojciech Legawiec, and Ms. Diana Coşalîc, Deputy Director of the Moldovan Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), signed an institutional cooperation agreement.

During the meeting, the President of the Agriculture Restructurisation and Modernisation Agency (ARMA), Mr. Wojciech Legawiec, and Ms. Diana Coşalîc, Deputy Director of the Moldovan Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), signed an institutional cooperation agreement. The agreement reflects both agencies' shared commitment to developing a strong partnership and confirms their willingness to exchange experience, knowledge, and innovative solutions for the benefit of modern agriculture.

The agreement aims to develop and strengthen the existing cooperation in key areas such as: implementation of agricultural policies based on quality, transparency, efficiency, and sustainable development; modernization of payment systems; digitization of administrative processes; and institutional capacity building on both sides.

Both agencies have committed to close cooperation through the exchange of best practices, organization of trainings and workshops, and mutual support in implementing modern mechanisms for managing agricultural and rural development support funds.

The signed agreement represents another step toward building strong international cooperation focused on supporting farmers and rural communities.
