20.11.2025
On 20-21 November 2025, representatives of the Agriculture Restructurisation and Modernisation Agency (ARMA) participated in the 58th Conference of EU Paying Agency Directors hosted by Denmark. The event took place in Copenhagen.
The Polish delegation was represented by Mr Wojciech Legawiec, President of ARMA;
Mr Andrzej Borusiewicz, Deputy President of ARMA; and Mr Tomasz Waźbiński, Deputy Director in the President’s Office responsible for international cooperation.
The meeting in Copenhagen provided an opportunity to discuss key issues related to the functioning of EU paying agencies, in particular the implementation of administrative simplifications and the potential use of artificial intelligence in administrative processes under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
This year’s conference also served as an occasion to sign a Cooperation Agreement between the Agriculture Restructurisation and Modernisation Agency and the Agriculture and Rural Development Agency of the Republic of Albania (AZHBR).
The agreement was signed on behalf of ARMA by its President, Mr Wojciech Legawiec, and on behalf of the Albanian Agriculture and Rural Development Agency by its Director General, Ms Ardita Kuçi.
The conclusion of the Polish–Albanian Cooperation Agreement represents an important step towards strengthening bilateral relations and reflects a shared commitment to deepening cooperation in the agricultural sector, enabling enhanced exchange of knowledge and experience.
Both parties also expressed their intention to organise joint activities, including meetings, seminars, webinars, training sessions, consultations, expert missions, and other initiatives aimed at further developing cooperation and facilitating mutual learning.
