ARMA's Experts Share Their Knowledge with Representatives from Other Countries

15.09.2026

The visit is part of the international project "EU Reporting Beyond Slogans," which aims to strengthen the competencies of participants in the agricultural and energy sectors.

On September 14, a meeting was held at ARMA headquarters with a group of journalists and representatives of non-governmental organizations from countries aspiring to join the European Union – Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine – as well as representatives of the German and Polish media.

The meeting was part of the international project “EU Reporting Beyond Slogans”, which aims to strengthen participants’ expertise in the agricultural and energy sectors – areas of particular importance for countries preparing for EU membership. The project is aimed largely at young people, primarily journalists, who want to better understand the accession-related aspects of these complex issues, which require specialized knowledge.

The visit to ARMA gave participants the opportunity to learn about Poland’s experience in preparing its agricultural administration for EU membership and the subsequent implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy. Issues of particular interest to the project participants included the establishment and preparation of ARMA to operate as an EU paying agency – one of the conditions for Polish farmers to effectively benefit from the Common Agricultural Policy – the implementation of the pre-accession SAPARD programme, the functioning of payment processing and control systems, as well as ARMA’s current role in implementing the CAP Strategic Plan for 2023–2027.
