Deadlline

The submission deadline is August 31, 2025.

Conditions

Books released in 2023 and 2024 are eligible to be submitted in the competition.

To be eligible, entries must be books (scientific monographs, popular science publications or editions of sources) by no more than three authors.

Results

The results of the Competition will be announced no later than 11th of November 2025.

Awards

Laureates will be awarded a cash prize of EUR 10,000 for ranking first, EUR 5,000 for ranking second and EUR 2,500 for ranking third.

The competition prizes are awarded by the Foreign Minister at the request of The Competition Chapter.

Submissions

To participate in the competition, you must send your publication by August 31, 2025 (date of mail stamp or time stamp on e-mail deemed to be date of delivery).

Entries must include an electronic copy of the book in pdf format, or an e-book in a format commonly available at bookstores. You may also send 6 hard copies of the publication, but electronic books are preferred.

You may enclose published peer reviews, opinions and publisher’s reviews if available. There are no language restrictions but an English translation of your book exists, please include it in your submission. 

Your submission must include a written consent of the author/s to participate in the competition, their contact details, as well as their written consent for processing of personal data.

or submitted to the Correspondence Register of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, entry from Litewska Street, from Monday to Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Please note that the MFA will not return the copies of publications entered for the competition.
