Change in the consular fees for D-type national visa, and C-type Schengen visa

Announcement

NATIONAL VISA (D-type) - from 1st of June 2024

The fee change includes:

  • the acceptance and review of a national visa (D-type) and
  • the acceptance and consideration of a national visa reconsideration application (D-type).

IMPORTANT! The new fee (220 AUD) will be implemented on June 1 of this year.


SCHENGEN VISA (C-type) - from 11th of June 2024

The fee change includes the acceptance and review of a Schengen visa (C-Type). The visa fee for the Schengen visa application will increase to 147 AUD, and for children aged 6-12 to 74 AUD.

IMPORTANT! The fees will be implemented on June 11 of this year.

The Visa Code harmonises the fees charged for short-stay visas by all the Schengen states. Every three years, the European Commission reviews these amounts and adjusts them if necessary.
