23.04.2026
As of 1 January 2025, the Act on the honorary benefit for reaching 100 years of age entered into force. The purpose of this regulation is to legally formalise a long-standing tradition of honouring people who have reached 100 years of age by granting them the right to an honorary benefit financed from the state budget and paid monthly.
From 1 March 2026, the honorary benefit amounts to PLN 6,938.92 and is subject to annual indexation.
The right to the honorary benefit is granted to Polish citizens who have reached 100 years of age, regardless of their place of residence. The benefit is awarded both to Polish citizens living in Poland and to those residing abroad.
