Ceremony of State Awards Presented at the Consulate General

On 25 March, a ceremony presenting state decorations took place at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney, Piotr Rakowski, awarded the Gold Cross of Merit to Mr Władysław Bujanowicz and Mr Józef Piskorowski.
The recipients were honoured in recognition of their contributions to the Polish diaspora community and their efforts to preserve and promote Polish history and national traditions abroad.
Following the official part of the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to engage in conversations, share memories, and take commemorative photographs.
