Summer School on Polish Foreign Policy

The "Summer School on Polish Foreign Policy" is a new program inaugurated this year by the Diplomatic Academy of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which aims at promoting a Polish perspective on the crucial international matters among officials from other countries. Participants from Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and Vietnam were invited to the first edition of the program, which was connected with the celebrations of Poland’s 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations with PNG and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the Philippines. In March 2023 Poland also signed a cooperation agreement with Vietnam on trainings for diplomatic staff from the two countries.

During their stay in Poland, besides the lectures, discussions and workshops about Polish foreign policy and regional situation, participants also had an opportunity to visit The Warsaw Rising Museum, go for an excursion to Torun, one of the oldest cities in north-central Poland and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as to attend a workshop on Polish cuisine.
