Declaration concerning the Special Tribunal for Crimes of Aggression against Ukraine

On 29 April 2026, Hubert Czerniuk, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, handed over to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, a letter from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, constituting a declaration of intent to accede to the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the Management Committee of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.

The Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, Hubert Czerniuk, and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, signing documents concerning the future Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.

The agreement will be officially approved during the next session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Chisinau on 14-15 May 2026.
