O.N.E. na Reykjavik Jazz Festiwal

O.N.E. is the first all-female instrumental jazz band in Poland. For now they’ve released two albums: "One" (2020, nominated for a Fryderyk Award and awarded
a "Jazz Oscar" at the Jazz Melomani Grand Prix Gala in the "Hope of Jazz" category) and "Entoloma" (2022). O.N.E. has performed at prestigious jazz festivals in Europe
and beyond, including the Athens Jazz Festival, the Jazz Festival in Budapest, Tallinn Music Week in Estonia, the Umeå Jazz Festival in Sweden, and numerous festivals
in Poland.

Three festival events featuring the O.N.E. band:

1) August 28th – music workshops with drummer Patrycja Wybrańczyk at MíT

2) August 28th – concert by the Icelandic-Polish-Danish quartet C4therine with Patrycja Wybrańczyk on drums

3) August 29th – concert by the O.N.E. band with Icelandic double bassist Þorkell Ragnar Grétarsson took place at Harpa, Reykjavik's largest concert hall, and Menntaskóli í tónlist. All events were met with high attendance and audience engagement.

The Reykjavik Jazz Festival is an annual event held in high regard on the international jazz scene. Established in 1990, it is the second longest-running music festival in Iceland. It features performances by acclaimed international jazz artists as well as leading figures of the Icelandic jazz community. In addition to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Reykjavik, several other diplomatic institutions have taken part in supporting the festival, including the Embassy of the French Republic, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway and the French Institute. The event has also received support from the City of Reykjavik and the Swedish-Icelandic Cooperation Fund.
