Statement of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Reykjavík in connection with recent media reports

In connection with the accusations of Ms. Margrét Adamsdóttir about Mr. Gerard Pokruszyński, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Iceland, which have appeared in the media, we would like to inform that the allegations do not reflect reality.

However, since the issue concerns internal employee matters, it is subject to appropriate analysis by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Due to the complexity of the case, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Reykjavik, in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has not commented on the allegations that have arisen so far and will refer to the case after clarifying all circumstances.
