Farewell video from the Ambassador of Poland to Ireland Anna Sochańska.

10.08.2023

As her posting comes to an end, Ambassador Sochańska reminisces on her biggest achievements of the last four years.

She talks about the most significant projects she developed in that period, such as The Year of Paul Strzelecki, an exhibition about Professor Jan Łukasiewicz, the annual celebrations of both the World Bicycle Day and Children’s Day, marking the 30 years of the Polish Embassy, to name but a few.

The Ambassador stresses a crucial role of the Polish community in Ireland in promoting Poland and acknowledges her own efforts to connect with Poles living locally in various parts of Ireland in order to share with them a sense of pride from being Polish.

To conclude, the Ambassador tells us what she found especially endearing in Ireland and in the Irish people. She also fills us in on how her big Irish dream came true… to be taken with a pinch of salt of course.
