The Irish Film Institute (IFI) is proud to announce IFI Kinopolis 2025 from Thursday 11 December to Sunday 14 December 2025. The IFI's annual Polish film festival this year sees a diverse celebration of Polish cinema, which this year begins and ends with biopics of great artists.

The Entry/Exit System (EES) is Europe's new border management system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders of 29 European countries.

This exhibition on life and art of Casimir Markievicz, Polish prolific artist and husband of the legendary Irish revolutionary Constance, was presented in Dublin Castle from 24 April until 14 September. It was jointly organised by The Office of Public Works and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dublin in order to to celebrate Polish Presidency of the EU Council.

Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski presented the Lech Wałęsa Solidarity Prize on the 2nd of September in Miami. This year's prize went to Berta Soler Fernandez, a Cuban dissident and the leader of the Ladies in White opposition group

On June 25th, a special concert took place in the concert hall of the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, commemorating the musical ties between Poland and Ireland.

The Embassy in partnership with the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) and the Academy of Music in Łódź (Poland) organised a celebratory concert „Chopin & Beyond” on the 16th January to mark the commencement of Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU. 

KINOPOLIS - Polish Film Festival took place from 5th until 8th December in the Irish Film, Institute in Dublin. It was a great occasion to watch the best Polish new releases and meet leading actors and filmmakers.

From August 6th, 2024, the opening hours of the Consular and Polish Diaspora Section of the Republic of Poland in Dublin will change. The change of opening hours applies only to Tuesdays.
