Third May Constitution of 1791 - Polish National Day celebrations in the Embassy of Poland in Dublin
03.05.2026
On April 30th 2026, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland to Ireland Artur Michalski hosted a reception to celebrate the 3 May Constitution Day, Poland's national holiday.
Numerous representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Irish Parliament (Oireachtas), the Polish diaspora, culture, science, academia, government, and business attended.
The official part of the reception began with the national anthems of Poland, Ireland and the EU performed by students of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź – Teresa Gąsieniec (cello) and Maria Yakymenko (piano), who later delighted the guests with a Chopin polonaise.
Councillor Supriya Singh represented the Lord Mayor of Dublin. The lovely weather facilitated pleasant conversations in the residence's garden.
Thank you all for celebrating with us!
