„The Ładoś Group and the Attempted Rescue of Polish Jews” – a public lecture by Roger Moorhouse in Dublin

On the 9th November 2022, acclaimed historian and author Roger Moorhouse delivered a public lecture in Trinity College Dublin to coincide with the anniversary of the November Pogrom.

'The Ładoś Group and the attempted rescue of Polish Jews' lecture summarises Moorhouse's research of the recent years and announces his new book on the topic which will be published next year.

Roger Moorhouse is a historian and author, specialising in Nazi Germany, Central Europe and World War Two in Europe. A visiting professor at the College of Europe in Warsaw, and a fellow of the Royal Historical Society in London, he is the author of a number of books, including “The Devils’ Alliance” (2014), “Berlin at War” (2010), and “First to Fight” (2019) – which won the Polish Foreign Ministry History Prize in 2020.

The lecture was jointly organised by The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dublin; Holocaust Education Ireland; University College Dublin, School of History; Trinity College Dublin, Department of History.
