Public Holiday on 15 August – Day Off on 14 August 2026

Please be informed that Friday, 14 August 2026, will be a day off from work in connection with the public holiday falling on Saturday, 15 August 2026 - the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is also observed as Polish Armed Forces Day.
Under Polish labour law, a public holiday falling on a day other than Sunday reduces the applicable working-time limit by eight hours. This follows from Article 130 § 2 of the Polish Labour Code. Consequently, when a public holiday falls on a Saturday, employees working under a standard five-day working week are entitled to an additional day off during the applicable reference period.
Accordingly, 14 August 2026 (Friday) has been designated as a day off in exchange for the public holiday falling on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
Our offices will therefore be closed on 14 August 2026 and will resume normal operations on Monday, 17 August 2026.
