Poland in Israel

Visitors to Beit Guvrin National Park - the ancient region of Maresha - can now learn that the Polish eagle carved into the rock, together with the inscription "Warsaw. Poland”, found in one of the five caves in the area, is a lasting trace of the presence of soldiers of Anders' Army, which was formed in Palestine in 1943. A new information plaque now commemorates this history.

Please be informed that Friday, 14 August 2026, will be a day off from work in connection with the public holiday falling on Saturday, 15 August 2026 - the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is also observed as Polish Armed Forces Day.

The EES was progressively launched on 12 October 2025 at the external borders of the European countries using the system and is fully operational since 10 April 2026. Fully automated and digital, the EES replaces passport stamping throughout most of Europe.

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tel Aviv resumes limited operations for passport collection only. Passports can be collected from Monday, 9 March, between 08:30 and 11:00.

Due to the current security situation in Israel and in accordance with the instructions of the local authorities, the Consular Section (Consulate) remains closed to visitors until further notice. This applies also to individuals with previously scheduled appointments.

Starting January 1, 2026, a new schedule of consular fees will come into effect. The changes are introduced by the Regulation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs dated October 29, 2025, and will apply in all consular offices. As a result, the majority of fees will be raised by approximately 20-25%.
