Fraud warning for the visa applicants

07.10.2021

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tel Aviv have lately noted fraudulent emails and text messages sent to applicants. The people behind these fraudulent emails and messages are posing as the Embassy’s personnel. Therefore, please protect yourself against fraud by reviewing the requirements for a visa for which you are applying on the Embassy’s website.

Attention

Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tel Aviv strongly advice against contacting or using services of the travel/work agents claiming to have any ties/special relations of the Embassy, as well as persons offering special visa authorization letters allegedly signed by any member of the Polish Foreign Service or the Embassy itself.

Please note that official communication is carried out by the Polish Consular personnel from the official e-mail address: telaviv.konsul@msz.gov.pl or other account in the domain @msz.gov.pl only. Polish Consular personnel do not communicate by WhatsApp or Messenger or any other text messenger. Contact details of the Consular Section can be found at the Embassy website: https://www.gov.pl/web/israel/embassy. Information received from other sources should be considered as coming from unauthorized entities.

It should be stressed that due to pandemic, only D-Type National visa applications from Palestinian students who are beneficiaries of Polish government scholarships (NAWA) can be submitted by mail only to prior email verification of all required documents. Once positively verified by the Consular Section representative, one will receive instructions on how to lodge the application.

Procedure of applying for a  visa and requirements for the same are unified for all applicants and clearly described on the Embassy’s website: https://www.gov.pl/web/israel/visas.

No special arrangements out of the stipulated framework are provided to any applicant.

No additional fees other than the visa fee (currently 316 ILS) must be paid to the Embassy.

Embassy never asks for additional money for the proper insurance, work/study documents or other border/COVID-19 related charges.
