Donation of protective equipment for Jordan

21.05.2020

In support of global efforts to stop the COVID-19 pandemic, a Polish military aircraft C-130 landed in Amman on 21 May 2020 with a donation of 100,000 certified protective masks for Jordan.

Donation no 1

This donation is a personal initiative of the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Duda, in cooperation with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Climate. The masks were handed over to representatives of the Jordanian Special Forces directly at the airport. The Jordanian side was represented by the Special Forces Commander, Colonel Na'el M. Alshqeirat, who, on behalf of the Jordanian Armed Forces, thanked the representative of the Ministry of Defence - Attaché of the Republic of Poland Colonel Sławomir Mnitowski for his support for the Hashemite Monarchy. The donation is a proof of many years of positive political-military cooperation between Poland and Jordan.
