02.11.2025Restoration of Dr. Antoni Ostrasz's Tombstone in JerashOn 2nd of November, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman visited the Christian cemetery in Jerash, where Dr. Antoni Ostrasz (1929-1996) is buried - a Polish architect and conservator. From 1984 to 1996, he headed the project for the renovation of the hippodrome in the historic complex in Jerash. At the initiative of the office, Dr. Antoni Ostrasz's tombstone was restored with funds from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the support of the cemetery caretaker, who performed minor repairs and cleaning work pro bono.

Over a thousand people from 46 countries participated in the event, which was created with the mission of building a global community of young people of Polish descent.
