Information session of the Ministry of Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland and the National Border Guard on the situation on the eastern external border of the EU

On June 16, 2025, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman, as part of the Local Consular Cooperation, an information session was organized at the EU Delegation for representatives of local authorities and the diplomatic corps in Amman on the situation on the eastern external border of the EU. At the invitation of the Embassy, representatives of the Ministry of Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland and the Border Guard presented information material on Polish migration policy and the security situation on the eastern border with BY, RU and UA (including disinformation activities). The meeting in the form of a video conference was organized in connection with the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union (January-June 2025).

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Jordanian Public Security Department, employees of the EU Delegation in Amman and representatives of the consular corps and security employees of EU diplomatic offices in Amman. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of the Republic of Poland was represented by the deputy director of the Department of International Affairs and Migration Magda Rychter with her colleagues, the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland – experts from the boards and offices of the Border Guard Headquarters. The meeting was moderated by the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Amman Adrian Browarczyk.

The meeting in Amman was held to present the priorities of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
