    Due to the Polish National May Holidays and Jordanian labor day, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman (including the Consular and Polish Diaspora Section) will be closed on the 1st of May (Wednesday) and 2nd of May (Thursday). Regular opening hours will resume on the 5th of May (Sunday).

    A Polish military transport in the form of 711 sets of parachutes has arrived in Jordan for the purposes of carrying out humanitarian airdrops for the people of the Gaza Strip. The value of the aid donated by Poland totals 871,350 PLN and comes directly from the resources of the Polish Armed Forces. The handover of the parachutes took place in the early morning hours of 29th of April 2024 at the military airport in the Jordanian capital.

    10th of this month the ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Lucjan Karpiński, and the consul of the Republic of Poland, Adrian Browarczyk, met with the authorities of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and students of the University of Jordan in Amman to promote the study of the Polish language in the country. The meeting was attended by a Polish teacher, Paweł Rogalski, delegated by the National Agency for Academic Cooperation, and representatives of the office.
