On November 11, we celebrate National Independence Day. Long live Poland!

Due to the All Saints Day, the Embassy of the Repulic of Poland in Amman will be closed on November 1, 2023.

Due to the Prophet's Birthday celebration day in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Embassy of the Repulic of Poland in Amman will be closed on September 27, 2023.

Ambassador Lucjan Karpiński met with the participants of the "JednoŚladami Andersa" travel project, which involves cycling the route of General Anders's army, traversed 80 years ago by Polish soldiers and refugees from the USSR. During the meeting, there was a symbolic handover of the baton between the individual groups of the relay.

The call for Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Science, and NAWA - Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, has just been announced! The programme offers possibility of completing second-cycle studies in a full-time mode.

One year after the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine, the Republic of Poland reaffirms its willingness to provide further military, political and humanitarian support to Ukrainians in their defence of freedom and independence.

Exactly one year ago, on 23 February, just hours before the Russian aggression, I was in Kyiv to support Ukraine. I spoke to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. As I said goodbye, I saw great determination and courage in his eyes. He said to me at the time: We may never see each other again. No one here will give up. We will fight until the very end.

Ukraine had over 5,000 museums, 65 historical-cultural reserves, and about 170,000 monuments before the war, including seven UNESCO World Heritage sites. During the nine months of the war, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine registered over 800 instances of Ukraine's cultural heritage destruction perpetrated by the Russian military forces. This number is growing by the day and still does not account for all the affected areas or the scale of the destruction.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman has the honour to announce that the development or / and humanitarian aid projects could be submitted for founding through Polish Aid means. This is a call for projects - within the framework of Polish Aid - covering following the priorities i.e. equal opportunities, education, decent work, reducing inequality, health, regional development planning and planning of rural areas.
