Since 24 February 2022, when the Russian Federation started its unjustified and unprovoked aggression against Ukraine, we have been witnessing appalling scenes of harm, pain, and suffering inflicted on hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians for days on end. The tragic lot of millions of civilian refugees, mostly women and children, and the enormity of damage and destruction caused by the war bring to mind the darkest periods in the contemporary history of Europe and the world.

The World Urban Forum (WUF) is a prestigious international conference, organized by UN-Habitat for urban growth and human settlements. This is the most important global event concerning municipal policies, transformation and development.

The regulation provides the abolition of most of the restrictions, orders and prohibitions in force to date (established by the repealed regulation of 25 February 2022), including, inter alia, the abolition of the order to cover the mouth and nose (with the exception of buildings in which medical activities are carried out and in pharmacies - until 30 April 2022 ), quarantine, isolation or home isolation, undergoing compulsory quarantine after crossing the Polish border, or the requirement to have a negative diagnostic test result for SARS-CoV-2 when crossing the Polish border from countries outside the Schengen/EU zone.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman has the honour to announce that the development or / and humanitarian aid projects could be submitted for founding through Polish Aid means. This is a call for projects - within the framework of Polish Aid - covering following the priorities i.e. equal opportunities, education, decent work, reducing inequality, health, regional development planning and planning of rural areas.

The aim of the English-language portal, which premiered on November 25 this year, is to promote the international achievements of Poles, the companies they develop and their products in the field of new technologies. Inspired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the project is carried out by the Polish Information Technology Society and the Scientific and Academic Computer Network, and a group of outstanding specialists, creators and observers of the achievements of Polish IT, which forms a team of its ambassadors and correspondents.

Today, Poland has started its one-year Chairmanship at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Thus, our country is assuming a greater role in shaping security and stabilisation on the European continent in the spirit of the Helsinki Final Act, whose 50th anniversary we will be celebrating in 2025.
