Poland in Jordan

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman launched and coordinated the transfer of humanitarian aid from Poland to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The cargo containing over six tons of medicines, powdered milk, basic products for children, hygiene materials and blankets arrived in Jordan on April 23rd 2025 on board a Polish Armed Forces aircraft.

Due to the Easter Holiday, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman (including the Consular and Polish Diaspora Section) will be closed on the 20th of April (Sunday) and 21st of April (Monday). Visa-related decisions set for this date can be collected until April 17 or from April 22 onwards.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman would like to encourage all researchers and scientists residing in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and holding at least a doctoral degree to apply for the ULAM Programme by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). It provides an opportunity to carry out research projects in Poland, in collaboration with Polish scientific institutions for a period of 6 to 24 months.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman does not cooperate with any intermediaries in the country or abroad in the matter of accepting and considering visa applications, nor does it recommend using their services. Using the services of intermediaries does not lead to preferential treatment and does not ensure a positive conclusion of the case. Only the consul is authorized to consider visa applications and make decisions in cases and the only fee charged at the Embassy is the consular fee.

In the light of the third anniversary of the unprovoked and unjustified full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman organized a private screening of the Polish-Ukrainian film "Ludzie/ Люди / People" (2024) at the Haya Cultural Center in Amman on February 25. At the invitation of the Polish Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Lucjan Karpiński, the screening was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Polish and Ukrainian communities in the country and employees of the Embassy. The screening of the film, which was attended by almost 100 guests, was organized at the initiative of the Polish Embassy, as an expression of solidarity with the Ukrainian nation.
