Poland in Jordan

On October 3, Minister Radosław Sikorski gave a television interview to Al Mashhad TV, an Arabic media platform from the UAE. During the conversation, the issues of Polish and EU support for Ukraine, migration strategy, the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border and mutual interest in tourism between Poland and the United Arab Emirates were raised.

On the 23rd of September, H.E. Mr Lucjan Karpiński attended an opening event of the "Eco School" project organized by Green Jordan in collaboration with Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman at the Nusayba Almazeneya School in Madaba.

Due to the extended consultation procedure in the visa process, applicants for D and C visas (applications filed from 12 to 26 September 2024) are asked to contact the office starting from 7 October (Monday) to receive decisions in their cases. The deadline for receiving decisions has been postponed by at least one week. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Due to the Prophet's Birthday celebration day in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Embassy of the Repulic of Poland in Amman will be closed on September 16, 2024.

Today, August 15, we celebrate Polish Armed Forces Day, established on the anniversary of the Polish counteroffensive during the Battle of Warsaw, also known as the "Miracle on the Vistula". The Polish victory over the many times larger forces of the Soviet Russia provides an example of how determination, sacrifice and love for the homeland allow for driving out the invader from one's lands. Long live Poland!

Due to the Polish Armed Forces Day, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman (including the Consular and Polish Diaspora Section) will be closed on the 15th of August (Thursday) . Regular opening hours will resume on the 18th of August (Sunday).

On August 16, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland H.E. Lucjan Karpiński, the commander of the Special Forces Component, Maj. Gen. Sławomir Drumowicz presented the Bronze Medal of the Polish Army to the former Commander of the Jordanian Special Forces Group, Col. Na'el Alshqrirat. The medal was awarded by the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland in recognition of the support of the development of military cooperation between our countries.

At the invitation of the Jordan Tourism Board on July 6 this year. Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Lucjan Karpiński and Consul of the Republic of Poland Adrian Browarczyk met with Polish medical students who will undergo professional internships at Amman hospitals.
