Poland in Jordan

On 25 May the Polish-Jordanian community took part in a sports event, which was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman at the facilities of the University of Jordan in Amman on the occasion of the Polish May national holidays and the celebration of the 78th Independence Day of Jordan. The event was attended by representatives of the Polish-Jordanian community, authorities and students of the host university, and the Embassy staff. The May Holiday Gathering participants had the opportunity to partake in a family Palant tournament.

Due to the Pentecost Holiday, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman (including the Consular and Polish Diaspora Section) will be closed on the 19th of May (Sunday) . Regular opening hours will resume on the 20th of May (Monday).

On the 1st of May 2004, Poland has joined this wonderful international community, and has been its proud member ever since. We appreciate those last 20 years of continuous growth and development supported by our membership. On this festive day, we wish all our compatriots a happy anniversary.

Due to the Polish National May Holidays and Jordanian labor day, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Amman (including the Consular and Polish Diaspora Section) will be closed on the 1st of May (Wednesday) and 2nd of May (Thursday). Regular opening hours will resume on the 5th of May (Sunday).

A Polish military transport in the form of 711 sets of parachutes has arrived in Jordan for the purposes of carrying out humanitarian airdrops for the people of the Gaza Strip. The value of the aid donated by Poland totals 871,350 PLN and comes directly from the resources of the Polish Armed Forces. The handover of the parachutes took place in the early morning hours of 29th of April 2024 at the military airport in the Jordanian capital.
