The 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition begins today. Eighty-five pianists from around the world will participate in the competition, which will run until October 23, 2025, at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.

The International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw is one of the oldest and most prestigious music competitions in the world, dedicated exclusively to the interpretation of Chopin's works. Initiated in 1927, it is held every five years and brings together the most outstanding young pianists from around the globe. Its reputation is established by its long tradition and importance in global musical culture.
