"Connected by Trust” Conference in Nairobi

On 1 October, the conference "Connected by Trust” was held in Nairobi. The event was co-organised by Asseco Poland and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi, with the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).
The event was opened by Undersecretary of State Wojciech Zajączkowski, who emphasised in his address Poland’s role as one of Europe’s leading providers of IT and fintech solutions.
The main objective of the conference was to provide a platform for exchanging experiences between the Polish and Kenyan banking markets, particularly regarding regulatory and technological challenges, as well as to present technological solutions that have proven most effective in practice in the respective markets.
The event served to promote Polish digital solutions for the banking sector and enabled representatives of the Polish and Kenyan banking sectors, particularly cooperative banks, to exchange experiences on the role of digital solutions in mobile payments, approaches to digital transformation, and innovation in banking.
The conference brought together approximately 150 representatives of the IT and banking sectors.
