Poland in Kenya

On December 1, 2025, a ceremony was held in the village of Ankitsiky, Madagascar, to name the local Basic Health Center (Centre de Santé de Base, CSB) in honor of Beata Kasprzyk. The center was built in 2023-2024 with funding from Polish Aid.

We invite you to two cultural events on December 4 and 10, 2025, as part of the project "Virtual Film Memorial. Hybrid BIO_GEO-GRAPHS of Jakub Barua" co-financed by the Embassy of Poland in Nairobi.

On November 21, 2025, the "Polish-Ugandan Mining Sector Conference" was held at the Mestil Hotel in Kampala. It was organized by the Polish Embassy in Nairobi and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in cooperation with the Polish Geological Institute (PIG).

The concert program of Happy Kyazze, a renowned Ugandan jazz saxophonist, featured a blend of Polish jazz and folk compositions intertwined with regional African and kizomba music. This first-ever Polish-African fusion concert in Kampala-organized in cooperation with the Kampala Music School-offered a unique opportunity to showcase Polish music to Uganda's political and business leaders as well as members of the diplomatic corps.

The College of Europe has opened applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2026/27 academic year. In response to the growing need in Europe for experts in security, the College of Europe in Natolin is proud to announce the new study track within the Advanced MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies: European Security and Strategy. Candidates have until 14 January 2026 to submit their online application.

In October, representatives of the Embassy of Poland, the PAIH Office in Nairobi, and the Honorary Consulate of Poland in Kampala visited the Care Skilling Center Africa (CSCA) in Kampala, where the Embassy implemented a development project financed by Polish Aid this year.

On October 17 and 20, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its consular section will be closed due to public holidays in the Republic of Kenya.

Between 14 September and 19 September 2025 a medical mission of the OPEN WINGS Foundation took place in Manerinerina, Madagascar under the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi. The mission was based in the Clinique Médicale BEYZYM hospital in Manerineirna, run by Mr. Daniel Kasprowicz, president of the "Foundation for Madagascar". The medics obtained the necessary permits from the Malagasy Supreme Medical Chamber and the Supreme Nursing Chamber.

The Entry/Exit System (EES) is Europe's new border management system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders of 29 European countries.
