Meeting with Hon. Nelson Koech, Chairperson of the Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Kenya

On 5 August, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Marcin Kubiak met in Nairobi with Hon. Nelson Koech, Chairperson of the Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Kenya.
The meeting focused on prospects for developing Polish-Kenyan interparliamentary cooperation and the planned visits of Polish parliamentarians to Kenya. The parties discussed opportunities to strengthen contacts between the two parliaments, including through the Polish-Kenyan Parliamentary Group.
Chairperson Koech welcomed the planned visits with great interest and expressed his readiness to meet with Polish parliamentarians. Both sides also highlighted the potential for further development of Polish-Kenyan economic cooperation.
