Meeting with Representatives of the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda

On 25 August, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Joseph Hirya and Mr. Josephat Nuwabeine, Directors from the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda in Kampala, together with Mr. Robert Sasin from the Supreme Audit Office of Poland, who serves as an advisor to the twinning project.
The meeting with chargé d’Affaires a.i. Marcin Kubiak focused primarily on the upcoming study visit to Poland by a Ugandan delegation, scheduled for September, within the framework of the twinning project being implemented by the Supreme Audit Office of Poland in cooperation with the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda, with financial support from the European Commission.
The discussions also provided an opportunity to exchange views on potential avenues for strengthening economic and political cooperation between Poland and Uganda, reflecting the shared interest in further deepening bilateral relations and institutional cooperation.
