On 31 July, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Marcin Kubiak met in Nairobi with Ummi Bashir, Principal Secretary in Kenya's State Department for Culture, the Arts and Heritage.
The discussion focused on prospects for the further development of Polish-Kenyan cultural cooperation, particularly in the fields of heritage protection and promotion, cooperation between museums, and the exchange of experience between institutions from both countries. The participants also discussed upcoming visits and cultural projects planned by the Embassy for 2027. Both sides confirmed their interest in maintaining regular contacts and developing concrete initiatives aimed at further strengthening Polish-Kenyan cultural relations.
