Poland in Kenya

We kindly inform you that on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 and Thursday, November 2, 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed due to All Saints Day, which is declared public holiday in the Republic of Poland.

On October 25, 2023, the Polish-Kenyan Business Forum was held for the first time, aimed at strengthening economic relations and increasing trade turnover between Poland and Kenya.

The President of the Republic of Poland, His Excellency Andrzej Duda, is scheduled to make an official state visit to Kenya. In this regard, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi together with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Kenya Investment Authority are organizing the Poland-Kenya Business Forum’.

We kindly inform you that on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 and Friday, October 20, 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed due to public holidays observed in Kenya.

On August 29 the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi hosted a delegation of the Kenyan National Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the leadership of Dr. Erick Rutto,

On August 23 under the leadership of Mrs. June Chepkemei at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi hosted the management of KenInvest (Kenya Investment Authority)

On August 14 under the leadership of Mr. Emilio Ndvig Muga, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi hosted representatives of the Kenyan authorities of the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) and entrepreneurs interested in cooperation with Poland.

The activity of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in strengthening bilateral economic cooperation resulted in a number of ministerial invitations. On August 24, 2023, at the invitation of the Kenyan side, the Polish delegation consisting of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Kenyan branch of Polish Investment and Trade Agency was received by prof. Njugun Ndung, Minister of Treasury and Economic Planning, equivalent to the Polish Minister of Finance and Treasury.

On 10th of August the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi hosted representatives of the delegation of the Kenyan local authorities of the Kajiado county, supported by the largest local agricultural producers. The delegation is going to Poland to establish cooperation with Polish entities operating in the potato industry and to purchase Polish equipment and production technologies that can be widely used in Kenya.

On 08.08. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi hosted representatives of the joint mission of the Kenya Film and Classification Board, the State Department of Public Works and Proscene Systems Limited going to Poland to establish cooperation with Polish entities operating in the film industry and to purchase devices based on Polish technology that will be able to be widely used in Kenya.
