09.03.2021The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi took the honorary patronage over the DUOS Festival organized as part of the project entitled Transcultural Perspectives in Art and Art Education (TPAAE). Thanks to this initiative, art universities from Europe and East Africa analyse contemporary art and forms of artistic education on both continents in a transcultural perspective.

08.03.2021On On March 5, 2021, Ambassador Jacek Bazański, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Zbigniew Rau, awarded Dr. Kea Norra Barua and Fr. Wojciech Ulman with the Bene Merito honorary distinction, in presence of the Polish community in Kenya and Kenyan graduates of Polish universities. This distinction is awarded to Polish citizens and to citizens of foreign countries in recognition of their merits in promoting Poland abroad.

This initiative is implemented jointly by the Member States of the Visegrád Group and the European Union within the EU Trust Fund for Africa (EUTF).
