Poland in Kenya

As of January 1, 2026, a new tariff of consular fees comes into force in connection with the Regulation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of October 29, 2025.

As part of a development project of the Embassy of Poland in Nairobi, in collaboration with the HAART Foundation, the publication "Voices for Freedom. An Anthology: Where Survivor Stories Lead the Way" was published, consisting of 25 essays/stories on the issue of human trafficking. The anthology is a unique attempt to give voice to survivors of human trafficking.

We kindly inform you that on December 24-26, 2025 and January 1 and 6, 2026 the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed due to Christmas, the New Year's Day and Epiphany, which are public holidays observed in Kenya and in Poland.

In December 2025, two key meetings took place at the headquarters of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Nairobi: the 7th meeting of the Open-ended Committee of Permanent Representatives (OECPR-7) from 1-5 December 2025, followed by the 7th session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) from 8-12 December 2025.

This December, two events took place in Nairobi as part of the cultural project "Hybrid BIO_GEO-GRAPHIES by Jakub Barua” supported by the Embassy of Poland and dedicated to the filmmaking of this Polish-Kenyan director.

On December 12, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its consular section will be closed due to public holiday in the Republic of Kenya.

On December 1, 2025, a ceremony was held in the village of Ankitsiky, Madagascar, to name the local Basic Health Center (Centre de Santé de Base, CSB) in honor of Beata Kasprzyk. The center was built in 2023-2024 with funding from Polish Aid.

We invite you to two cultural events on December 4 and 10, 2025, as part of the project "Virtual Film Memorial. Hybrid BIO_GEO-GRAPHS of Jakub Barua" co-financed by the Embassy of Poland in Nairobi.

On November 21, 2025, the "Polish-Ugandan Mining Sector Conference" was held at the Mestil Hotel in Kampala. It was organized by the Polish Embassy in Nairobi and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in cooperation with the Polish Geological Institute (PIG).
