Polish-Ugandan cooperation in the field of auditing

On 9 June 2026, a delegation from the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda in Kampala paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi.
The meeting, hosted by Chargé d’affaires Marcin Kubiak, was attended by: Magdalena Moryksiewicz, Head of the Political, Economic, Consular and Diaspora Section, and Dominika Mosek, Consul of the Republic of Poland, and on the Ugandan side: Akol Edward, Auditor General of Uganda, representatives of several departments of the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda, and Robert Sasin from the Supreme Audit Office in Warsaw, an advisor on the twinning project.
The discussions focused on the implementation by the Supreme Audit Office of a twinning project for the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda in Kampala, funded by the European Commission, aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of the Office of the Auditor General.
