Narok County, August 11, 2025 - The Governor of Narok County received Mirosław Gojdź, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Kenya, for a courtesy visit aimed at enhancing bilateral relations, including regional cooperation with Lower Silesia region.
The discussions centered on deepening cooperation through cultural exchange and heritage preservation, with particular emphasis on the rich Maasai heritage in Narok County and the historical landmarks of Poland’s Lower Silesia Region. Both parties explored joint initiatives to empower youth in the two regions, identified priority sectors for mutual investment—including agriculture, tourism, and technology—and examined opportunities for partnership between educational institutions in Lower Silesia and Narok County to foster academic collaboration.
The Governor was joined by Deputy Governor Hon. Tamalinye Koech, Narok North Member of Parliament Hon. Agnes Mantaine Pareyio, County Assembly Speaker Hon. Davis Dikirr, Majority Leader Hon. Sonkoi Lemein, and Nominated MCAs Hon. Henry Siololo and Hon. Leah Ntimama.
