Poland in Lebanon

A sincere congratulations and heartfelt thank you to Liana Avedissian who was a great Ambassador!!!

The Polish Embassy in Beirut had the honour to welcome a new Ambassador as Liana Avedissian, winner of the Ambassador for a Day competition, reported for duty. Her Excellency gained a valuable and unique insight into the work of the Embassy and the Consular Department in Beirut during a busy schedule which included a visit to a project to see how Poland is assisting Lebanon , a meeting with the Polish Ambassador and Embassy staff to discuss bilateral issues, diplomatic work and consular issues, a close up view of the visa application process, and finally writing up a report on the day’s activities.

This was the first year that the Polish Embassy participated in Ambassador for a Day initiative and we would like to thank the British Embassy in Lebanon , Embassy of Canada to Lebanon and the Jordanian Embassy for organising this event.

Liana charmed and impressed the Embassy staff with her drive and clear ambition. It certainly seems that Lebanon’s diplomatic future is in good hands.
