On 17 December, a ceremony was held to present the Honorary Badge for Merits for Polonia and Poles Abroad to Father Marek Cieślik.

The distinction, awarded by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, is an expression of recognition for Father Marek Cieślik’s many years of service to the Polish community in Lebanon, as well as his commitment to promoting Polish values, culture, and traditions beyond Poland’s borders. During the ceremony, his contribution to building and strengthening the Polish community, his pastoral and educational activities, and his efforts to reinforce ties with the homeland were highlighted.

The ceremony had a solemn character and served as an expression of gratitude for his dedication, service, and commitment to Polish affairs abroad.
